The essential backbone that gives structure to every beautiful garden. Plants are the ‘pretties’, but the stone, gravel, timber, bricks and mortar are what give a garden its strength and definition, which in turn create character and atmosphere.
Natural stone is now very affordable and as well as an expanding range of paving at The Oaks, we can also supply stone direct from our quarry at Marnhull.
Choosing a natural paving for a terrace or patio? If you are local we are happy to deliver a wide range of samples and leave them with you, until you have made you choice. This allows you to ‘live’ with them in your garden and observe the textures and colours in different lights and weather conditions. With a natural product these are important considerations. For instance, slate will look pale and roughly textured when dry, but as dark and sleek as a seal when wet.
